SERVICES
Top Quality Repair
We believe bicycles are an important tool for the empowerment of our community and our growth as a sustainable neighborhood. It doesn't matter to us if you bought your bike here, at another shop, or it was handed down to you from a previous generation. New mountain bikes, old cruisers, those that cost thousands and those that were found. Every bike that hangs in our stand gets the same attention to detail and thorough effort.
Schedule Appointment
Our repair stand stays pretty full so if you need emergency service we are happy to work by appointment.

About Us
non-profit origins.
Buckskin Bikes began as the Shadeland Bicycle Collective in 2008. We originally formed as a non-profit focused on bicycle advocacy, education, and repair but we quickly discovered the lack of quality bicycle retail and service in our area. We decided in 2012 to transition to a more standard for-profit business and have realized that small business is a very powerful way to help enact social change. In January of 2023, after 2 years of building renovation work, the shop moved to it’s new location on Madison Ave. We are excited to continue to grow and serve our community.
